The Mac OS 8.5 Menu Manager provides the following functions to control the enabling of menus, menu items, and menu item icons:
DisableMenuItem
disables a menu item or a menu.DisableMenuItemIcon
disables the icon associated with a menu item.EnableMenuItem
enables a menu item or a menu.EnableMenuItemIcon
enables the icon associated with a menu item.IsMenuItemEnabled
reports whether a given menu or menu item is enabled.IsMenuItemIconEnabled
reports whether a given menu item icon is enabled.
