Call Appearance Functions

Placing an Outgoing Call

You obtain a new call appearance structure using the TELSetupCall function. Once you do that, you can use a variety of functions to place the call, depending on the type of the outgoing call. The functions include

• TELConnect (page 4-27) or TELDialDigits (page 4-28) for a simple outgoing call
• TELConferencePrep (page 4-39) and TELConferenceEstablish (page 4-40) for a conference call
• TELTransferPrep (page 4-35) and TELTransferEstablish (page 4-36) for a transferred call
• TELRetrieveParkedCall (page 4-46) for retrieving a parked call
• TELCallPickup (page 4-47) for picking up a call ringing at another terminal
• TELVoiceMailAccess (page 4-48) for a call to a voice mail service
• TELPaging (page 4-48) for a page
• TELIntercom (page 4-49) for an intercom call
