Optional Scripting Component Routines / Manipulating the Create and Send Functions

OSAGetSendProc

You can use the OSAGetSendProc function to get a pointer to the send function that a scripting component is currently using.

FUNCTION OSAGetSendProc(scriptingComponent: ComponentInstance;
                        VAR sendProc: AESendProcPtr;
                        VAR refCon: LongInt): OSAError;

scriptingComponent

A component instance created by a prior call to the Component Manager function OpenDefaultComponent or OpenComponent (see page 10-4).

sendProc

The OSAGetSendProc function returns, in this parameter, a pointer to the send function currently set for the specified scripting component.

refCon

The OSAGetSendProc function returns, in this parameter, the reference constant associated with the send function for the specified scripting component.
