If you create a color picker, it must respond to the
kSetOriginrequest code. The Color Picker Manager sends this code to inform your color picker that the window origin for the color picker has changed. A color picker responds to the
kSetOriginrequest code by calling a color picker-defined subroutine (for example,
MySetOrigin) to handle the request.
pascal ComponentResult MySetOrigin ( PickerStorageHndl storage, Point where);
- A handle to your color picker's global data.
- The new window origin for the color picker.
DISCUSSIONIf your color picker maintains any information based on the local coordinate system of its dialog box, your
MySetOriginfunction should update that information.
The Color Picker Manager moves all dialog box items automatically in response to a new window origin for the dialog box, so it is not necessary for your color picker to move its items.
Your function should return
noErrif successful, or an appropriate result code otherwise.
